The brief for this task was to interview an Instagram Influencer to understand how important the social platform can be in implementing a successful digital marketing strategy.



Fab Giovanetti is a business mentor, published author and influencer-specialist, best known as the founder of the Health Bloggers Community. Her book, How to Make An Impact, defines what the role of influencer is, arming readers with the practical applications of, and strategies with which to acquire real and lasting influence.


Do you think that Instagram is an important social platform for a successful marketing strategy? Why?


Yes, for a few reasons. It allows a behind the scenes look, it's easy to access and highly visual, also it's a platform that is constantly growing to cater for brands and content creators with conversion and monetisation options. Still, it should not replace a website.


What would you say is your number one strategy, personally, for maintaining your digital presence?


Have a system. I tend to have a system where I schedule once a week, I schedule a time to interact and engage every day, and review every month. Seriously simple to-dos!


What advice would you give to those looking to grow their platform?


Why do you want to grow it? How can you help people with it? This is the most important question you can ask for yourself. Once you know how you want and can help people, you can get the content they need and they'll come back to again and again.
